BBE Sonic Stomp Maximizer

Let’s start with saying, we love this pedal. Finally sharing our thoughts almost two hours after “testing” began, it seems clear this is a stand out device. The BBE Sonic Stomp is essentially their 482i Sonic Maximizer shoved inside a compact alloy suit. It boost bass and treble signals while separating the lows, mids, and highs to produce a sparkling blanket of sound. With only two knobs: lo contour controlling bass levels and the process knob manipulating shimmering high end, it is easy to turn it on and never need to touch it again. While playing with a Gibson Les Paul Jr. through a Fender Bassman we witnessed the legendary and sometimes ear piercing attack of the Junior succumb to the Sonic Stomp and transform into a delightfully sweet yet commanding tone. That’s when we decided that this pedal couldn’t hurt your sound if it wanted to.
