SOLD - Campbell American dares to not just create beautifully crafted instruments, but also instruments that break away from the traditional shapes and styles that dominate the market. The Campbell American Transitone is one of those break away guitars that offers a unique but comfortable shape, light weight, and the playability, fit and finish that only a custom builder can provide.
Sooner or later, practically every guitar builder is tempted to produce a version of "that" guitar. And why not? Even people who have no connection with music recognize "that" shape even if they have no idea who made the guitar or what it's called. That's why the Smithsonian has one in their collection: It's part of our culture. Never content to imitate, the folks at Campbell American have used the inspiration of "that" guitar to create something thematically similar, but arguably unique and different: The WEW.
Hand made right here in New England, Dean Campbell and the craftsmen at Campbell American Guitars are true custom builders. Offering their own unique designs they use only the finest materials and nitro-cellulose lacquer finishes to create truly unique instruments. Most instruments feature Gotoh hardware, Jason Lollar, Lindy Fralin or DiMarzio pickups, and wide range of tone woods and finishes. We've got our first couple guitars on order now and we're real excited to be working with them. Of course half the fun is ordering your own guitar and getting it outfitted just the way you want.
