SOLD - The Angry Angus Testy (angry - testy, get it?) is a lightly aged T-style guitar hand crafted right here in New England. Using only the finest materials and finished in a beautifully checked nitrocellulose lacquer, the Angus Testy has the look of a guitar that just begs to be played, and the vibe you've been chasing but could never find in mass produced products. JUST ARRIVED - The G&L ASAT Classic S is the perfect go-to guitar for county, pop, rock or blues. With three pickups and seven pickup combinations, the Classic S has all the cluck of a Tele® plus punchy middle and "out of phase" Strat® tones. This guitar is finished in Cherry Burst over alder, with wood binding, tinted maple neck, rear body contour, and white pickguard.
The G&L ASAT Classic S is G&L's take on the "Nashville" Tele® style of this guitar and features a middle pickup, a 5 way pickup switch and a pull volume control for seven possible pickup configurations. We've made this guitar "extra comfy" by adding front and back body contours just like the G&L Legacy. This guitar has a ton of tonal combinations, and unless you've got to have a Vibrato, the Classic S can cover just about anything else.
SOLD - New Color for 2011 - Yukon Gold Metallic. The G&L ASAT Classic has been one of G&L's most popular models for years, and traces its roots back to Leo Fender's original ground breaking designs. The power, clarity, and frequency response afforded by the G&L MFD pickups makes this guitar ideal for a broad range of styles from Country to Blues, R&B and Jazz.
The ASAT Special Deluxe is a classic old-school formula for success: Great pickups, solid mahogany body, simple controls, and a solid bridge. Stripped down to it's bare but elegant essentials the G&L ASAT Special Deluxe is the essence of rock.
The ASAT Bluesboy combines the classic ASAT design and bridge pickup with a Seymour Duncan Seth Lover pickup in the neck position. While it's call the Bluesboy, I think it's equally appropriate to call it the "Jazzboy": You get the warm, clear jazzy tones of the neck pickup combined with the twangy but full sound of the ASAT Classic bridge pickup.
The G&L Comanche is an interesting guitar: Take your basic G&L Legacy and load it with a set of the G&L Z-Coil pickups and what you get is a Strat® style guitar with tremendous power and dynamics. The other thing about Comanche's is that they are often ordered with a lot of pricey options that put them out of range for many players. In my quest to provide reasonably priced Comanche's, this pretty Lake Placid Blue model is stylish enough to get noticed, but does not carry a heavyweight price tag.
