We realize that it is a very competitive sales environment out there, and we will always strive to offer the best possible pricing. But part of our value to you is service and knowledge that you may not get at other retailers or mail order outlets. We’re not in the business to move merchandise: We’re in the business to connect musicians with the right gear to help them achieve their musical ambitions. Part of a great shopping experience is knowing that you’ve gotten the information and help you need to make the right decision, and that you really love your purchase.
In addition, we are obligated to conform to the pricing rules and guidelines of the companies we represent. Our online pricing will always conform 100% to the manufacturer guidelines. Here is a brief summary of some of our pricing guidelines:
- Rivera – Rivera pricing is designated as “Pro User Net” pricing. This is the price we advertise and cannot deviate from this regardless of whether the product is in stock or special ordered.
- G&L – We list G&L guitars and basses at the “Minimum Advertised Price” or MAP on our website. We will also list some of our stock on eBay, and unless it is used gear it will also be at the MAP price. Periodically we will offer sales or specials on G&L product, and the final price will be shown at checkout, or you can call for information. Pricing for custom orders from the factory will be quoted in writing, please call or write for information.
- • Godin – Godin guitars and basses are also listed on our website at the MAP. Periodically we will offer sales or specials on Godin product, and the final price will be shown at checkout, or you can call or write for information. Godin also allows new guitar sales on the internet, and they also must be advertised at the MAP price. While Godin does not take custom orders, we can order any Godin guitar in their product line. Please call for information.
- • ValveTrain – ValveTrain pricing is similar to Rivera, and the price is the price regardless of in-stock or special order.
