Originally developed around the turn of the 20th century, the diminutive Parlor guitar was literally intended for respectable ladies to play in the Parlor. But besides being more comfortable to hold, the smaller chamber volume provides a punchy midrange and great sensitivity to picking nuance. By their very nature, Parlor guitars are touch responsive and popular with pickers.
While Parlor guitars can't match the volume of a larger Concert or Dreadnaught. The built-in Fishman Presys II electronics makes sure you'll be heard in any live situation.
