Takamine GY93NAT Parlor Spruce/BWalnut/Maple Acoustic - No Bag/Case
The TAKAMINE GY93NAT is a Parlor-sized acoustic this ideally suited for finger style players and coffee house troubadours. The Parlor guitar originated at the turn of the century as a "ladies" instrument literally for use in the parlor. Genteel ladies of that era did not go to open mic nights, and the Parlor guitar was built for home entertainment. In later years the Parlor guitar gained favor with blues players and finger stylists who appreciated it's responsive nature and punchy sound. Blues and folk greats like Keb 'Mo and Jeff Muldaur are frequent Parlor guitar players.
The smaller internal dimensions of the Parlor body moves the air very quickly, providing great response to the player's touch. This is a primary reason why they are favored by finger pickers. And the Takamine GY93NAT makes the most of its solid Spruce top and Black Walnut/Maple back and sides to produce a dynamic and focused tone.
The Takamine GY93NAT is a lively playing companion, and it's projection and spunky nature belies its size. From the couch to the coffee house the GY93NAT won't let you down.
