Walrus Audio Iron Horse LM308 Distortion V2 Pedal

This is a discontinued V2 pedal that has been replaced by the V3. The main difference is that the clipping on the V2 is a three position toggle, where the V3 is a variable blend of Silicon to LED. It's available at a special savings while the last.

The Walrus Iron Horse V2 pedal uses the same LM308 chip as the legendary R*T pedal for outstanding crunch and articulation that make it an instant classic. But everything can be improved upon, and the Iron Horse provides three different clipping modes to vary the amount of compression (silicon or LED) or no compression at all for full throttle uncompressed gain. Even the more compressed setting it never sounds squashed or lacking dynamics, just a little smoother or more linear. Plus characteristic of the LM308 is that the Iron Horse cleans up nicely as you roll down the guitar volume. One of our favorites in the shop, the Iron Horse is a go-to pedal for anything from rock to roots to prog.
