Who does not want a little Metal now and then? The new Teisco Mini Metal Distortion is a tiny Tazmanian Devil of Metal Energy that is so transformational in front of any clean amp that it may just be the most fun pedal of the Teisco Mini series. 

We like simple pedals, and the Mini Metal fits that desciption with a Gain, Volume, Tone and a 3-way boost switch. And we quickly found our happy place: Toogle on high boost, mids scooped at at nine o'clock and we were instantly in the land of Creed, Fallout Boy, Panic!, Blink and just about every other 2000's Pop/Emo band. 

The Mini Metal is particularly tight in the low end, and with the high boost engaged, it stays articulate and crisp, responding well to even the most subtle picking dynamics. Thanks to the combination of the boost switch and the wide range of the tone control, this pedal can cover everything from classic Pop/Emo textures to more aggressive, mid-focused distortion.
