Designed similarly to the front end of a tube amp but with JFET transistors in place of tubes, the EHX Tortion is a dual stage pedal that can range from near-clean boost to raging high gain. With four types of fat/tight pre-grain, 3-band EQ, two individual gain stages, and DI ouptut, it's a whole bunch of pedals in one box. Great for tweakers and those who want to travel light.
