Walrus Audio Fundamental Series: Phaser Pedal
While multi-effects units continue to grow in popularity and capabilities, at the shop we are all still dedicated "pedalboard guys." The range of choices and options in individual effects is simply too attractive to pass up. As well as the ability change your mind, or assemble multiple boards for special purposes.
But assembling a pedalboard can be choice overload, and can also get pretty expensive. The Walrus Audio Fundamental Series of effects are a great starting point (or destination) for putting together a reliable, high-quality effects setup. Then Fundamental Series covers all the "core" effects that anybody could want, and all are priced at just $99. Great for starting a new board, or where you need "that sound" for certain songs but don't want to spend big bucks. All Fundamental pedals run on 9VDC tip-negative power, and are designed and assembled by Walrus Audio in Oklahoma.
In the words of Walrus Audio on their Fundamental Phaser pedal:
The Fundamental Phaser is a versatile digital emulation of a classic phaser. With three types of Phaser algorithms to select from, you can get sounds ranging from light tonal modulation to a highly modulated and resonant phaser.
Rate: Controls the rate of the modulated LFO. A higher rate will produce a faster and more pronounced pitch modulation, while a lower rate will produce a slower and more subtle effect.
Feedback: Control the amount of affected signal sent back into the feedback loop, more feedback creates more resonance.
Depth: Controls the depth of the modulated LFO. This affects the amount of pitch modulation applied to the affected signal.
Slide Switch – The slide switch allows you to change between three distinct flavors of the pedal.
