Seymour Duncan SL59-1b Little '59 for Strat Bridge Pickup - White

Seymour Duncan Little '59 for Strat SL59-1B Bridge Pickup - White ...

When the Stratocaster was introduced in 1954, Buddy Holly and Bill Haley were about as heavy as things got. Inexplicably, Leo Fender did not even connect the bridge pickup to the tone control. And players have been looking to "improve" the Strat bridge position ever since. The Seymour Duncan Little '59 injects some much-needed low-end response without over-emphasizing the midrange (which can make a pickup nasal or "honky"). The higher output and fuller response is great for driving pedals, and the 4-conductor wiring opens up a range of possibilities for wiring options (all available on the Duncan website). A popular option for years, the Seymour Duncan Little '59 is a shot of B-12 for your Strat.

In the words of Seymour Duncan:

The Little ‘59 bridge model is a single coil sized humbucker that will inject the sound of a Les Paul directly into your Stratocaster. Its medium output and scooped mids will really add depth to your bridge position. The 4-conductor lead wire gives you access to parallel and split wiring options for added versatility. This pickup is a drop-in for any standard single coil pickup route.
