The Seymour Duncan Seth Lover pickup set takes you back to the early days of the PAF pickup. When first developed by Seth Lover, high output was not a "thing" and actually neither were endless arguments on the type of Alnico magnets, scatter winding or the  bobbin plastic. Materials and outputs often varied, both from process variations in the factory, and sometimes what materials were available or cost effective. There were happy accidents in the early days of electric guitars, and the Seth Lover set takes the best of what made those early pickups magical, and has made it available for players everywhere.

Our butyrate bobbin molds are created by the same factory that built the original P.A.F. mold for Gibson.
