USED Seymour Duncan SHPR-1 P-Rails Triple Shot Neck Pickup Flat Ring - Black
Normally sold in sets only, this NECK pickup has the Triple Shot pre-wired selector for four distinct sounds without the need to add any additional switching. Simply connect the hot and ground and you are off and running. This is a FLAT pickup ring and will not fit LP-style arched top guitars.
Who says you can't have it all? The Duncan SHPR-1 P-Rails come surprisingly close. We first discovered these pickups in a couple Godin guitar models and were extremely impressed with how they sounded. While do-it-all pickups require some compromise, the P-Rails in our opinion really nailed the P-90 tone and was probably our favorite position. The single coil setting maybe did not have the chime of a true Strat pickup, but sounded leagues better than most split humbuckers. The humbucker can be set in series or parallel mode.
In the words of Seymour Duncan...
The bridge and neck P-Rails can each be split to give you an authentic P90, or it can be split to the Rail coil for Strat like tone. With both coils on, you get a big sounding humbucker that packs a nice full punch. The neck pickup in this set is RWRP (reverse wind, reverse polarity) so you are hum- free when using any single coil in the neck with the bridge.
