Few guitar mods do so much for so little effort as an Emerson Custom wiring assembly. And after two years of development, all Emerson assemblies now feature their exclusive Emerson Premier Pro Pots. Specifically engineered for guitar and bass applications they feature a tight +/-8% tolerance, an extra rugged terminal board, a precise taper optimized for guitars, and slightly larger lugs to make soldering easier. Along with Emerson-spec pots each assembly uses their exclusive made-in-USA Paper-in-Oil capacitor.  These precision hermetically sealed components combine vintage sound and modern manufacturing techniques to maximize your guitar tone. Much like tubes, Paper-in-Oil capacitors are closely identified with "the sound" of vintage guitars and amplifiers. Featuring military-spec tubular construction with sealed glass ends, these components are perfectly sized for guitars, and look so cool they might create a demand for clear pickguards.

Note: The Volume Mod is a matter of taste, and the vintage wiring schematic also helps to reduce tone loss as the volume is rolled off. On our own Tele guitars our preference is no volume mod and it can be easily clipped out or un-soldered.
