Acoustic guitar amplifiers are very different animals, and actually have more in common with bass amps: Headroom, clarity and accuracy are what makes a good acoustic amplifier. And smaller diameter wide-dispersion speakers are better suited to the qualities of an acoustic than your typical 12" guitar speaker. 

The GR Guitar Carbon Fiber Acoustic guitar amp takes the technology perfected on their bass guitar amps and applies it to acoustic applications. Designed to travel from studio to stage, the NF8 packs 140 watts of bi-amped power, an 8" neodymium speaker and 1" dome tweater into a featherweight 12 pound package. With two combo XLR-1/4" channels with phantom power, and a third instrument/aux channel the NF8 will handle your guitar, mic and other instrument sources. And with its 4-band EQ and 8 selectable effects, the NF8 needs nothing in the way of outboard gear to sound good.

But the true beauty of the NF8 is how it sounds. With excellent transparency and a 40-20kHz frequency response, your acoustic guitar will sound its best. The NF8 is natural and expansive, and even when using the onboard effects (which they provide no specifics) it never sounds processed or artificial. We have other acoustic amps in the shop, but nothing matches the GR for natural acoustic tone and effortless headroom.

Portable column systems have been very popular with acoustic performers for quite some time. But acoustic guitars don't need a sub, and in many cases very low frequencies can wreak havoc. With far less weight and much greater portability the GR Guitar NF8 is the acoustic performer's new best friend.
