With a solid Cedar top, solid Mahogany back and sides and Rosewood fretboard, it features materials found in guitars costing hundreds more. and it's made 100% in Canada.
The Godin Q1T electronics is a straightforward under saddle system that has 2-band EQ and built in tuner. It's been a mainstay of Godin guitars for years and it's reliable, devoid of piezo quack and crackle, and unobtrusive.
While the price is very attractive, Godin sweats the details where it matters: The top is from domestically sourced old growth Cedar that is both strong and straight grained, which is critical for guitar tops. And their special thin lacquer finish allows the guitar to breathe and vibrate freely. The result is a guitar that looks elegant, and will continue to age gracefully and sound better with every passing year.
This is a discontinued model using their Q1T electronics. In 2023, Godin switched to Fishman.
