Godin Session T-Pro Arctik Blue 2025 RN SF Electric Guitar w/Godin Gig Bag

The Godin Session series of S-type guitars has always been an impressive combination of value and features. The Godin Session T-Pro takes it a notch up by adding their 2-point floating vibrato bridge, staggered height locking tuners, Seymour Duncan pickups, and their high-quality Godin padded gig bag.

This is a Godin "SF" Factory Second guitar with a small cosemetic defect (see photos). These defects are typically trivial and you get a new guitar with full factory warranty at a savings!

The Godin Session T-Pro features a hard rock maple neck with 12" radius Rosewood fretboard. As with all Session guitars the neck is a slim profile, measuring approx. .800" at the first fret and .875" at the 12th. If you like slim necks, you'll dig the Session: The frets have a high level of polish, the fret ends are uniformly smooth and the playability is first rate.

Godin has had a long association with Seymour Duncan, and for the neck and middle pickups they've employed the Duncan SSL-2. This is a flat pole version of their Vintage Strat pickup, intended for flatter fretboards and modern strings. There's plenty of snap, chime and quack with these pickups and the Basswood body is tonally very similar to Alder, but lighter in weight. The Duncan Saturday Night Special pickup uses Alnico 4 magnets, which sit right in the middle between the softer sounding Alnico 2 and brighter but sometimes edgy Alnico 5. They are renowned for producing sparkling cleans and a balanced, punchy crunch devoid of harsh peaks.  And the mild 9.75K DC resistance lets the tone of your guitar come through. There is a pull-tone option to split the bridge pickup, which does provide a little more quack when paired with the middle pickup. But if just on the bridge alone, it sounds best as a full humbucker.

The Godin Session T-Pro is every bit a professional level guitar at an extremely attractive price for a North American made guitar. It's a great workhorse guitar, short on bling but long on performance and features. If you are looking to move up from a first guitar, or looking for a reliable gigging companion, look no further than the Session T-Pro.

Made in Canada, the Godin Session T-Pro features:
