USED D'Angelico Premier DC Ocean Turquoise 2022 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar w/Gator Hardshell Case

The D'Angelico Premier DC is their take on the venerable ES ("Electric Spanish") design and is a great example of how far your money goes these days in affordable electric guitars.

The Premier DC is very neatly finished with a fully bound body and neck, block inlays and a neatly applied attractive semi-metallic finish. You can love or hate the D'Angelico headstock, but chances are you won't mistake it for anything else. At 8.2 pounds it is typical for this type of guitar. 

Plugged into our trusty Deluxe Reverb, the Duncan designed pickups put out tones that are typical for this type of guitar. The neck pickup is warm with a full midrange and a rounded top end. The bass response is firm and not flubby like some humbuckers. The bridge pickup is moderate in output and with a warm fat midrange and a restrained high end. Semi-Hollows such as the Premier DC are mid-focused which makes them surprisingly good with overdrive pedals and mild-to-medium distortion. And full center block prevents any unwanted feedback.

If you want to live the 335 experience the D'Angelico Premier DC is a solid bargain and plays extremely well. Guitars like this can always benefit for some upgrades, and with a nice set of pickups you are still looking at a very reasonably priced player that looks like a million bucks.
