The Martin "X" series is their effort to employ more sustainable and cost-effective materials such as High Pressure Laminates for the bodies and very stable multi-ply laminated necks.  In this case, the "00" size 00CXAE is a Concert-sized cutaway acoustic-electric aimed at the plug-in performer market. The shallower 3" body depth and X-series bracing is more resistant to feedback, and the built-in Fishman electronics get the job done with minimal fuss.

They must be onto something as this 25 year-old guitar has flat top, straight neck and set up with no fuss or drama. Sounds pretty good too, and while not a "big" sounding guitar has plenty of natural acoustic volume. For coffee shop gigs or just a comfortable sized daily player, this USA Martin is a heckuva deal.

Excellent condition: The satin finish body looks much better in person than under a photo flash. No fret wear, dents dings. Fully set up and ready to play.
