USED UF by Nick Caiano Green Wash 2020s Offset Electric Guitar w/Tweed Case - Made in Vermont

Here’s a unique and well-made Partscaster offset guitar built by Nick Caiano from the Burlington, VT area. Nick is a music teacher and performer who also puts together the occasional guitar under the "UF" label—your guess is as good as mine as to what that stands for. He does not have much of an internet footprint, so further details on this guitar are limited, but the original owner purchased it new from a shop in Burlington.

This is clearly not his first rodeo. At 7.8 pounds, this offset is very neatly assembled and shows off several artistic touches, including wooden fret markers, colored side dots, naturally aged brass hardware, Sperzel tuners, a brass nut, and a nice tweed case. The 25.5" scale neck has a 9.5" radius fretboard. Inside, the wiring is very tidy, with the tone capacitor wired vintage-style and a treble bleed added as well. The bridge pickup is a Fralin, although there is not enough lead length to identify the neck pickup without unsoldering it. The guitar plays very well, with an overall tone that is mellow and warm; even the bridge pickup avoids any icy clang. The switch is a standard 3-way.

Guitars like this are a matter of the builder’s imagination, and this offset has more imagination than most. If the look speaks to you, you can feel confident that the build quality backs it up.
