USED *RARE* Gretsch G6136-55 Vintage Select Edition '55 Falcon White 2020 Hollow Body Electric Guitar w/Original Hardshell Case

The Gretsch White Falcon is an inconic guitar blending 50's bling with great tone a playability. Released as their top of the line guitar, the White Falcon has existed in various incarnations since 1954. The G6136-55VS Vintage Select model is a recreation of one of the earlier models that used the DeArmond single coil pickups. The DeArmond pickups are a unique design where each magnet pole is height adjustable via the adjusting screw below the magnet. The TV Jones T-Armond pickups have the clarity these pickups are known for, but a more rounded high end and clear bridge pickup response that is bright but not shrill. Combined with the hollow maple/spruce construction the White Falcon has a woody rockabilly tone that evokes 50's recordings, but with a little gain can sound quite modern and edgy. The White Falcon makes quite a statement, visually and sonically, and this 55VS is truly a special guitar. 

Made in Japan, and the workmanship fit and finish is exactly what you'd expect, and not a hair is out of place on this guitar. No dings, chips or signs of handling. Includes original case and all paperwork.

The 12"-radius ebony fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and elegant mother-of-pearl Hump Block and feather inlays tops a maple neck with a comfortably familiar standard "U"-shaped profile for supple playability, making complex chords and intricate single-note playing effortless.
