No matter what kind of fuzz you're into, the folks at JAM have the right pedal for you. Utilizing their obsession with NOS components, they offer a roster of circuits inspired by the best Silicon and Germanium pedals ever produced, and now they've bridged the Great Divide. Enter, the Eureka Fuzz. This special circuit uses silicon transistors in an entirely new fashion to achieve the best of both fuzz worlds: the midrange snarl of germanium and the sheer mass of silicon. To no one's surprise, they seemed to have got it just right, and using the Tone and Gain controls you can easily sway into the sonic territory of your choice. It's a lot like having the Fuzz Phrase and the Red Muck in a single box. The grit is tangible but always propped up by a full-bodied lows, and it cleans right up with a slight roll of the volume knob.

The mini-toggle switch on the Eureka is a great feature that progressively adds in low end frequencies. This is super helpful if you're switching between single coil and humbucker guitars or if you simply need a quick presence boost for a big solo.

The Eureka is a simple pedal that solves a lot of problems right away. It has its own unique character but remains authentic in its recreation of the germanium soundscape. If you love fuzz but can never stay satisfied, you might just say Eureka! when you hear this one.
