USED Breedlove Atlas Series Studio C250/SM-12 Natural 2000s A/E 12-String Guitar w/Breedlove Gig Bag

Here is a lovely Korean-made Breedlove Atlas Series Studio C250/SM-12 acoustic-electric 12-string guitar, complete with its original Breedlove gig bag. Breedlove was founded in Oregon in 1990 and in 2003 introduced the Atlas line, its first series of imported instruments, designed in Oregon, built in Korea, and given final setup and inspection in Bend. The Atlas Studio models brought Breedlove's signature concert body, solid Sitka spruce top and onboard LR Baggs electronics to a far more accessible price point, and the C250/SM-12 packs rich 12-string shimmer into a compact, comfortable concert cutaway body.

This Breedlove features the JLD Bridge Truss system, which many luthiers will recognize as the JLD Bridge Doctor. This lightweight truss shares the string load with the bridge, allowing for lighter top bracing and a more open, resonant voice. It also helps resist bridge rotation and top belly bulge, a particular concern on 12-strings given their extra string tension. Long a hallmark of Breedlove's US-built guitars, the JLD truss was also included on many of the Atlas Series models.

This 2000s Breedlove Studio C250/SM-12 is in excellent condition with no fret wear and no dents, chips or dings in the finish. The bridge and all glue joints are tight. We installed a fresh set of strings and shaved the saddle to fine tune the action. Includes our pro setup and setup checklist.
