USED Rocktron Prophesy V1.5 2000's Guitar Preamp & Digital Multi-Effects Processor w/Midi Mate Controller

The Rocktron Prophesy is a serious piece of American-built rack gear: a hybrid tube and DSP guitar preamp and full multi-effects processor in one chassis. It has four preamp voicings: Clean American, Texas Blues, Vintage British and Mega Drive. Each one runs through a real 12AX7 stage, so you get organic, touch-sensitive response along with deep digital control. The effects are built around the preamp. Wah, compression and EQ sit in front of it, and reverb, tremolo, speaker simulation and global EQ come after it. A flexible assignable block covers chorus, flanger, phaser, pitch shift, rotary speaker, delay with ducking, and an effects loop. You can run up to eight effects per preset across 127 user presets. Rocktron's ADSR function with pluck detection lets parameters react to each picked note, which makes this rig feel alive under your hands.

A Little History

Rocktron built its name in the 1980s and 1990s with studio-grade signal processing, including the well-known HUSH noise reduction and the Intellifex and Chameleon processors. Released in the early 2000s, the Prophesy was the company's all-in-one flagship. It combined a tube preamp, effects and MIDI switching in a single rack unit, and it was later followed by the Prophesy II and Prophesy III. This unit runs V1.5 firmware.

This used example is in Very Good condition, works fully, and comes with a Midi Mate floor controller for hands-free preset and effects switching. Includes print outs of user manuals.
